Challenge

The store was held back by a slow catalog and primitive recommendations, so users bounced from product pages.

Solution

We rewrote the catalog on Node.js with MongoDB and Redis caching, moved recommendations into a FastAPI service and built an SSR React storefront.

Pages load fast even on mobile networks, and personalized picks noticeably raised the average order value.
